A number of The Island’s pioneer roads are maintained in their primitive state. Called Heritage Roads, they are usually bordered by trees which often meet overhead. These island red clay roads make a passage through wonderful tunnels of light and shade.
This is a unique tour with many opportunities for photos and to observe any wildlife we may encounter.
The Heritage Roads are especially impressive during autumn. Rusty Rover will take you through the rolling hills where the fall foliage is ablaze with beautiful colour.
Rusty has found that when opportunity arises, he loves to diverge from the beaten path – at any season. You don’t have to wait for fall to see PEI’s beautiful Heritage Roads!
